UKonline Internet Courses

If you're new to computers and the internet then our free, easy-to-use GO ON and Online basics courses can help you get started.

What is GO ON?

GO ON is a set of online courses for people new to computers and the internet. It’s completely free to use at NWMRC and covers a range of basic computer skills.

Online Basics and other courses

If computers are totally new to you, or someone you know, then the Online basics courses will help.

They cover everything from using a mouse and a keyboard to sending your first email, and they include internet safety and security for all the family, too. It doesn't matter if you've never used a computer before, the friendly staff and volunteers at NWMRC will give you support and help you get started.

Once you’re comfortable using your computer, the Online jobs and Online services packages will help you look for work, go shopping and use online banking and public services.

Then courses in Using and Understanding levels will help you better enjoy things like digital photography, digital music and even things like researching your family history online.
